How to Change PHP Version in StackCP
Change your website PHP version from StackCP while keeping compatibility in mind.
Some websites need a specific PHP version to work correctly. Log in to StackCP and open Change PHP Version or the PHP settings tool. Select the domain or website you want to update. Choose the required PHP version from the list, then save the change. After saving, test the website home page, contact forms, admin login, and any shop or booking pages. If you see errors after changing PHP, switch back to the previous version and check your website software, plugins, and themes. Always take a backup before changing PHP on an important website. Do not choose very old PHP versions unless a developer has confirmed they are required.
