How to Create an FTP Account in StackCP
Create an FTP account so a developer can manage website files without full panel access.
An FTP account allows file access without giving someone your full StackCP login. Log in to StackCP and open FTP Accounts. Choose the website or domain the FTP account should belong to. Create a username and use a strong unique password. If StackCP lets you choose a folder path, restrict the account to only the folder the user needs. For example, give a developer access to the website folder rather than the whole hosting space. Save the account, then copy the FTP hostname, username, port, and connection details into your FTP software. Remove FTP accounts when work is finished. Never send passwords publicly or include them in screenshots.
