How to Create a MySQL Database in StackCP
Create a MySQL database in StackCP for WordPress or another web application.
Many websites need a MySQL database to store content and settings. Log in to StackCP and open MySQL Databases. Choose the option to create a new database. Enter a short, clear database name if StackCP asks for one, then create the database. StackCP may generate a database username, password, or suffix automatically. Keep the database name, username, password, and hostname safe because your website installer may need them. If you are installing WordPress or another application, enter these details exactly as shown. Do not delete databases unless you are sure they are unused. If you are replacing an existing website, take a database backup first.
