How to Enable a Free SSL Certificate in StackCP

SSL allows visitors to open your website securely using HTTPS. Log in to StackCP and open SSL Certificates or the SSL section for your domain. Select the domain you want to secure and choose the free SSL option if it is available on your package. Start the SSL request and wait for StackCP to validate the domain. The domain must point to the correct hosting service before the certificate can issue. Once installed, test the website using https://yourdomain.co.uk. If the browser still warns that the site is not secure, clear your cache and check that images, scripts, and links on the website are also loading over HTTPS.
