How to Install a Free SSL Certificate in cPanel
Enable HTTPS on your domain by running AutoSSL or installing a free SSL certificate.
SSL allows your website to load securely using HTTPS. Log in to cPanel and look for SSL/TLS Status or AutoSSL. Select the domain you want to secure, then click Run AutoSSL or the available option to issue a certificate. Wait for cPanel to complete the check. The domain must point to the hosting server before SSL can be issued. After the certificate is installed, visit your website using https://. If the browser still shows a warning, clear your cache and check that your website content is loading over HTTPS. Some websites also need a redirect from HTTP to HTTPS or changes inside the website application.
