How to Navigate the AzuraCast Broadcaster Panel

A clear walkthrough of the main AzuraCast panel areas so broadcasters can manage their station with confidence.

The AzuraCast broadcaster panel is designed to keep your station tools in one place. Once you log in at https://stream.onlineaudience.co.uk, you will see a layout that gives you quick access to playback, media, playlists, reports, live streaming tools and station settings. Understanding the layout first makes every other task much easier.

Main areas to know

  1. Dashboard or Overview: This shows what is currently playing, listener activity, upcoming tracks and station status.
  2. Left sidebar: This is your main navigation menu. Use it to access Media, Playlists, Streamers/DJs, Reports and Web DJ.
  3. Header area: This usually shows the active station, stream condition and whether AutoDJ or a live DJ is currently broadcasting.
  4. Station selector: If you have access to multiple stations, use this to switch between them.

A good workflow is to start on the overview page, confirm the correct station is selected, then move into the area you need. For example, use Media for uploading files, Playlists for programming rotation, Streamers/DJs for presenter accounts and Reports for listener information. Try not to change advanced settings until you understand what they control. For most broadcasters, the daily essentials are uploading audio, assigning tracks to playlists, checking the current broadcast and reviewing reports.
