How to Schedule a Cron Job in StackCP
Create a scheduled task in StackCP for website scripts that need to run automatically.
Scheduled tasks, often called cron jobs, run a command or script automatically. Log in to StackCP and open Scheduled Tasks or Cron Jobs. Choose the website or hosting package the task belongs to. Enter the command provided by your website software or developer. Common examples include running a PHP script at set intervals. Choose the schedule carefully, such as every hour or once per day. Avoid running heavy tasks every minute unless your developer confirms it is required. Save the task and monitor the website afterwards. If the task causes errors or high resource usage, disable it and contact support with the command and schedule used.
