We've recently launched a new update that may cause some users to experience errors such as a missing MySQL extension or an internal server error. We've upgraded our system to secure older versions and ensure their safe use. The occurrence of these errors depends on the PHP version you were on before the update. If you were using PHP 5.+ up to 7.2, you may encounter these errors.

To fix the missing MySQL extension error, you can follow these steps:

Go to cPanel and click on MultiPHP Manager.

Check the PHP version your site is currently using. Let's say it's 5.6 for this example.

Go back to your cPanel account and select the "Select PHP Version" option, found under the software tab.

Make sure that the current PHP version matches your version number.

Click on the PHP version and select 5.6 (or your current PHP version) and click "set as current."

You'll see a list of modules that you can install. Look for "mysql" and enable it.

If you encounter an internal server error, go to MultiPHP Manager and make sure that the PHP version is your version number, e.g., php5.6 ea, and not 5.6alt. You can also change this to work with the alt version by following the steps above.
